How to join our next event
If you're an author who wants to participate in an upcoming event, please join the private Facebook group, Stuff Your Kindle: Crime Edition - Authors. Be sure to review the rules and answer the membership questions or you'll be automatically rejected. Only members of the group who have agreed to the rules are allowed to participate.
Please note: This event is *exclusively* for Mystery/ Thriller/ Suspense authors. That means that if your books were in a bookstore and would be found on a shelf other than Mystery/ Thriller/ Suspense—such as Romance or Horror—then sadly, this is not the event for you. (On the plus side, there are other SYK events out there perfect for your books!)
FYI: How to change your book's price to FREE
During the event, all books must be FREE on Amazon. While other storefronts may be included as well, you must have your book free on Amazon. (Books requiring an email subscription are not considered FREE and are not allowed in the event.)
KU authors—If your book is in Kindle Unlimited, take advantage of your free price promotion days. Details here.
Wide authors—Things are a bit more complicated for you, as you'll have to set your book to $0.00 on other retailers first, then request Amazon to price match for you. It doesn't always work out, and sometimes requires multiple requests, so for the love of Mary Higgins Clark, please do this well in advance! Details here.
Is there any cost to participate?
Nope! All costs and resources used to develop and host this event are being carried by the organizers. All we ask of you is to follow the rules, be respectful, and share widely when the time comes so that we all benefit. All authors participating in the event agree to share on social media and to their newsletter list.
